I like to know what I’m doing and why. I also want to see tangible results and to get a sense that I’m being trained to do things well on my own. This made Jess the perfect match. She has put me through intense workouts, helped me gain confidence so that when I walk into a gym, I know what I want to do with myself, how to do it safely, and how to get results.

Jess talks to me about what else is happening in my life and my travel schedule so that I can craft reasonable ways to maintain a fitness regimen even when the circumstances are not conducive to doing so. She knows how to distract me from the pain of getting through the last set, how to exhaust me beyond belief, but how to keep me looking forward to our next session. She changes up the workouts so that I never feel myself falling into a rut and she helps me stay on the sunny side of life.

After working out with her for three months, I flew out to San Francisco to visit friends with whom I’d vacation earlier in the year. “What happened to you?” When I told them about Jess, they replied, “You’ll have to keep her. That’s the best thing you’ve done for yourself in a while.” They’re right.

Dave Sharp~
Training with Jes Reynolds has transformed my workouts from a repetitive routine into a useful, efficient and energizing experience. Her training and expert advice has been helpful in making my time spent in the gym both rewarding and energizing. When my wife and I joined the gym, we primarily went in and did cardio workouts on the elliptical machines. After training with Jes, I learned to vary and organize my workouts and most importantly, use proper technique. She has a very clear and focused way of teaching exercise and fitness techniques, and is excellent at presenting a customized workout plan to achieve specific goals.

Anna Gersh~
I’ve never been much of a gym person. It took a long time for me to get comfortable there and when my husband suggested I try making an appointment with a personal trainer, I thought he was crazy. The problem was, I couldn’t argue with the results. He would come home from working out with Jessica feeling stronger and sleeping better. She seemed to be teaching him an awareness of his body that was improving everything from his weight distribution to his posture. Most importantly she was helping him manage some chronic back trouble that he had been dealing with for many years due to the nature of his work.

So I finally gave in. Jessica is a highly skilled technician of the body. She was very sensitive to my body’s specific needs. In just three sessions she showed me a simple circuit of exercises that dramatically improved my own posture and seemed to maximize the time I was able to spend there- as a working mother, that kind of task time optimization is invaluable to me. She was also very kind and supportive. The gym world is not my world, but Jessica took the mystery out of the machines, and really helped me feel comfortable. She has given me some very useful tools and I’m so glad I met her!

My name is Colleen. I am 24 years old and a newly inspired triathlete. I began racing triathlons in June of 2009, which I became turned onto after being bored with my daily workouts. I wasn’t a swimmer, I enjoyed biking but only on a mountain bike, and I ran only if I had to. So, I figured this is a sport I certainly wouldn’t get bored with. After finishing in the top 3 of all 5 of my races I was hooked and wanting to take this sport more seriously.

In March of 2010, I began training with Jes in the hopes that she could help me become the best athlete I could be. Jes started as my trainer but has become my coach. She designs my schedule, monitors my progress and holds me accountable to being both physically and emotionally strong. With only a few weeks away from my first triathlon of the season I have a mental and physical confidence that cannot fail me. Now, I am well on my way to being that great athlete. I will dominate
